"I don't know how to get started"

This was my thoughts 10 years ago before I started my fitness journey and before I started Personal Training in Peterborough.
It's also the thought of 99% of people who want to lose fat.
Do I cut out carbs?
Do I need to go on the treadmill for 30 mins a day?
Should I stop eating bread?
Once you've researched these 1 million questions you have, most people end up feeling overwhelmed.
To the point where you think so hard about how you're gonna get started that you never actually do.
Then IF you do start taking action, it inevitably becomes a phase.
Which happens because you lack confidence in your plan, as you're unsure if what you're doing is the RIGHT way to do it LONG TERM.
So you stop doing it.
And we're back at step 1.
I was so lucky that I had a friend who knew what he was doing to guide me the first year or so.
But I also must've researched 100's of hours into learning weights/diet etc.
And I still made so many mistakes.
