I hear it said all the time, and it’s a mindset issue that can be fixed quite easily. “I don’t have time right now” Let me break down why for most of you this isn’t true, and how to fit fitness into a busy lifestyle. Some of you might be feeling right now that you genuinely don’t have time to get a gym session in. But then why can’t you eat healthily, that doesn’t take time? For most people I’ve coached, it comes down to a mindset issue. Your health and fitness is not at the top of your priority list. So you put other priorities first. Now I’m not telling you to ignore your family and kids because you have to get to the gym. There are more important priorities than fitness of course. But genuinely ask yourself - are there 45 minutes a few times a week where I could take time out for myself? Most of you would answer yes to that. So now that we’ve established you can spare lets say 45 mins 3x per week, let me break down how you use that time efficiently: 1️⃣ Do a high intensity, weights based workout. If you only have 45 mins it’s gonna need to be low rest with medium weights. Rest maximum 1 minute between sets. If you struggle to get to a gym in this time, get a pair of dumbbells and do a home workout. You can still build very good muscle tone with a home workout 3x per week. 2️⃣ Eat healthily If you know you want to lose fat, there’s no reason to do with time that you can’t eat healthily. With all that in mind, I take a personalised approach to coaching. I know some of you are genuinely very busy and do struggle to fit fitness in. I have a guy Paul on my coaching who works 8-7 6x per week and he still gets a gym session in at 7:30 4x per week.
And he has a fiance (she must be very understanding haha).
If you've tried lots of times to get fit and failed, and time is the number 1 factor, I can help you.
